Publisher has a number of tools that allow you to make a web-site with ease. You can create a website with publisher even if you only make one page. You create it as a publisher publication, and then publish it to the web as HTML. You will not be able to edit it in publisher once it is published on the web. However, you can edit the publication, make any changes you need, and then publish the edited files onto the web again.
Firstly, choose new from the file menu and open the publisher window. Select web site as the publication type and then select a web-site design and any other changes that you feel necessary. When you have finished, click create. When the easy web site builder dialog box appears, tick any boxes for the items you want to add to the website and click ok.
Now you have begun creating your web-site in publisher, click page options to change the page layout, the page name, background and background sound. Doing so will make it look more appealing to anybody that views it.
Now use any tool on the web tools toolbar and customize your web page. If you have multiple pages, simply switch to other pages and customize them individually. You will need to replace the placeholder text and graphics on each page with your content.
When you have finished with this, click the save button and your publication will be saved and be available for any later modifications. When you have saved it, you can click the web page preview button on the web tools toolbar. In here you can preview your site in the web browser. Finally, return to your publication, make and changes, save it, and you are finished.
